Tandoori Roti

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tsbp baking powder
  • Salt
  • 4 cups wheat flour

 

Directions:

 

In a bowl, combine white flour, ghee, curd, baking powder and salt. Mix and knead until a dough is formed.Cover and let the dough rest for 15 minutes.

 

Make small round balls of dough.

 

Dust table with wheat flour and flatten out dough balls with a rolling pin. Dust off all the excess wheat flour and roll it in a pin roti.

 

Apply  little bit of water on one side of the roti and keep that side on the pan.

 

Roast roti on a cast iron pan. Flip the pan and roast the tandoori roti. Roast properly on both sides.

 

Brush melted butter on the roti. Serve.
