Onion Bhaji Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 x Onions
  • 80g of plain flour
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 x teaspoon of coriander seed
  • 1 x teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 x tablespoon ghee (or unsalted butter)

Recipe

Mix the egg with the crushed coriander seed and cumin and add to the flour. Stir until it forms a solid batter. Slice the onions lengthways and mix into the batter.

Heat the Ghee up in a pan and fry on a medium heat for two minutes per side.

Place in the oven at 180’c for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
